| Appearance: | A short, yet athletic man, Archibald looked like a standard blonde haired, blue eyed human with a standard issue crew cut, were it not for the tech protruding from his skull on his left side, curving out to a screen in front of his right eye. The technology acted as a display screen of sorts, but appeared as simple translucent glass to an observer form the other side. |

Archibald lived a rather unremarkable life, growing up on Earth, going to the academy and being pressed into service. He started off his security career at spacedock, where not much happened, though he was able to find small pockets of crime that others missed in his boredom. One crime he solved brought him into contact with a strange Ferengi trader named Gaila who promised him tech if he released him. Archibald followed the Ferengi, and found that there was a strange AI implant that the fellow was selling, seemingly originating with the Orion Syndicate. He held it up to his face, and it forced itself on Archibald, drilling into his skull and setting up a translucent screen over his left eye. It’s rumored that the device talks directly into his mind, though what it says, no one knows but Archibald.
In 2282, he took a vacation to Risa. There, he met Lieutenant Jessamine Langley, but not in a romantic capacity. They heard screams of a neighbor, who had been assaulted and threatened with murder. From there, they investigated, and Langley used her medical knowledge to conduct forensice investigation, while Archibald pieced the crime together. They solved the crime, and were an inseperable pair ever since.
After Risa, Archibald was assigned to the USS Kelsier Lilah DiBetta’s command, along with Jessamine. Archibald had a knack for getting under Lilah’s skin with constant pestering and demands to upgrade various ships systems to keep up with the AI that was attached to his face, and Lilah forced their transfer in 2286 to the USS Jupiter.
That went along til 2291, when the Jupiter received a new commander who also didn't get along with Archie, forcing yet another transfer. Though these transfers occurred, Archie's service record was spotless. Him and Jessamine solved even the most bizarre of crimes with seemingly little to go on, and kept their respective ships safe.
Archibald was recently transferred to the Pasteur Station to head up its security, and threw a fit back at Starfleet Command when he learned it was to be alone. He demanded that Lieutenant Jessamine Langley be assigned with him, and threatened resignation if the demand were to be denied.
