Captain's Personal Log
Stardate 70987.55 (12/27/2393, 11:00 hours)
It has been a while since I have made any entries into my personal log, only because I haven't felt the need. It's been several weeks since we transported Trane, Tetch and their family back to their home base of operations. We did double back to their ship and took it in tow, though Commander Hart said that thing will probably never fly again. Since that time, we have been exploring this area of the Beta Quadrant, tracing a line toward Enclave territory. As far as their colony goes, Starfleet as decided we can do nothing about it, except to keep an eye on it and make certain the Enclave do not start sending more ships through the wormhole. Apparently, they have already located a similiar base in System 834, where they have set up a base and which also included a hatchery. We are on alert to deploy the slip-stream drive should Starfleet need us to head to that system. As far as our explorations have gone, we have been chcking out some of this quadrant's wonders.
The one thing that prompted me to do this entry, is Armand. The Terran Christmas Holiday has just passed. Terra, Dr. Ane, of Pasteur Station, had Armand put in a call to me, and I have to confess, I do miss the boy's presence on the ship. I do believe, however, that leaving him to spend time on Pasteur has been far more beneficial for him. Terra has been relating his interactions with other kids his age on the station and what appears to be a budding romance with the admiral's daughter, Luna. Yeah, I miss him, but he is definitely growing on the station.

FOR THE SIM:
We are continuing with our exploration/Enclave hunting mission in the Beta Quadrant. Right at the time we are at Condition Green, but you know how that can change at a moment's notice.
