Captain's Log Stardate 70812.84 (10/24/2393, 16:30 hours) We are taking the ship into the solar system now occupied by the Enclavians. Lt. Banning has launched a sensor probe to give us better readings on both the planet and the Enclavian ships in orbit. The one we followed from the freighter wreckage is showing himanoid life signs aboard. A recently launched shuttle has just rendezvoused with the ship. We are speculating they will be transporting the humanoid life forms to the planet where Lt. Banning has detected a Enclavian hatchery. This poses all new dilemmas, some which include a possible threat to the Alpha Quadrant, and Federation space in particular. If the Enclavians establish a "beach head" here, they will have a close point in which to launch an attack on the Federation. I have forwarded a report to Starfleet Command via the slip-stream relay that was set up by Admiral Fyrstk many years ago, while he was still in command of the Intrepid-class Eagle. My primary concern now, is rescuing the crew of the freighter. I have a feeling the Enclavians have plans for them that none of us would like. Plus... I made a promise to two young boys. ### FOR THE SIM: We are headed to the planet where the two Enclavian warships are in orbit. The ship is at yellow alert and under sub-mode. All hands must be ready for anything. (Welcome to the new year. :) ) |
