Captain's Log
Stardate 70191.32 (03/11/2393, 20:00 hours)

    The ship is proceeding at maximum warp to intercept a five-ship fleet that is hell bent on intercepting and stopping the Independence  from confronting and (hopefully defeating) the Order council.  We have contacted the U.S.S. Pathfinder whom has now joined us to take on the interceptor force.  I intend on taking avery peaceable measure I can before engaging the force, but we will engage them.

FOR THE SIM:

The ship is on Yellow Alert.  As stated above, we will take every measure we can to dissuade this force from trying to take out the Independence.  All hands should be ready and alert.
