Supplemental (03/08/2393, 10:30 hours)
We received a tip from the Nivarian Outpost 383, that the U.S.S. Independence might be hanging close to the outpost and scanning them. Administrator Grealey informed us that they could not scan the ship that was scanning them, which would fit in with the Independence's current mode of operations. We came into the Outpost's space and it was a ship, which immediately left the scene. As we pursued the ship, their engines could not hold out with the power they were using to maintain their sensor inhibiting technology. It was not the Independence, and the ship now hangs dead in space. I will be contacting Administrator Grealey to see what he would like to have done with this ship.

FOR THE SIM:
We will be investigating what this ship was doing scanning the outpost. While this is definitely NOT our fight, assisting the Nivarians could bolster Starfleet's image, and improve attitudes toward our presence in the Delta Quadrant.
