Captain's Log
Stardate: 70055.93 (01/21/2393, 10:00 hours)
It has been over thrity days since our last contact with the U.S.S. Independence. I am failry certain they are still in the area. There have been small indicators that we are sure are signatures of the missing starship, but it always seems to be a dead end. I am not sure what they are doing to evade our sensors, and we haven't detected any signs that they may have engaged their slip-stream drive. We have been invited by the Tarsus Rangers to take advantage of their starbases, should we need relief. I believe the crew deserves some shore leave, so we will be docking at one of their larger "barracks" facilities.

SHORE LEAVE! You will all be permitted to go aboard the Tarsus Ranger Barracks. There is commercial level with many different activities.
