Supplemental (12/18/2392, 13:00 hours)
During our investigation of the "missing nebula," we picked up evidence of a skirmiah between two ships. One of the ships sent out a distress call, which we responded to. One of theships in the skirmish took off when they saw us coming, and due to an imminent warp core breach, we beamed the entire crew off the second ship to Cargo Bay 3, where we have an emergency medical ward set up. Commander Jorel is down there now.

Time to find out about our new guests. Did we rescue the "heroes" or the bad guys? We are also still looking for the Independence, so sciences will keep the sensor net active.
