Captain's Log/Mission brief 151028
by: Rayne McCloud

Captain's Log
Stardate 69009.9 (01/04/2392, 15:00 hours)

Here's our current situation.  The U.S.S. T'Leera has crash landed on a pre-warp, Class-M, planet outside of Federation space.  The planetary government is VERY aware of the ship's presence, but die to some fancy deflector dish work by our science and OPS officers, they have not detected us, though they do have sensing equipment that would be able to.  The government has the T'Leera surrounded, but apparently the research ship had enough power to erect their defensive shields and thus far they have not been boarded.  We do have certain options here.  We could beam them out, but we would then have to destroy the T'Leera.  We cannot risk polluting the planet's natural technological development.  We could try and make contact with the planetary leaders.  That would be more trickier in keeping the "pollution" to a minimum.

FOR THE SIM:

I hope you all have had your thinking caps on.  This is a tough one to decide and I am going to want pro and cons against all options.
