Captain's Log
Stardate 68822.94 (10/28/2391, 09:00 hours)
The Eagle is currently docked at Starbase 399. We have trasnported the last of the people who were held captive by the Azontu, the people we originally called "the Squatters." The leaders of the Azontu have also been turned over for prosecution for piracy and being trafficking. The remainder of the Azontu were allowed to remain on the Squatter world but now have to make their won way. Enough supplies have been left with them to get them through the year, and they are expected to produce their own needs following that. Starfleet will be sending another ship to keep an eye on them, but without the ship, they should pose no more of a threat to the area.
Thinngs have quieted down between the Kzinti and their adversaries. Commodore Billings has managed to get them to agree to a cease fire while they try to work out their differences. There are now enough Starfleet ships in the area, also just in case things should escalate again. We also remain on alert and are instructed to stay close to the area until an actual pact has been reached. For the moment, the crew will get a couple days rest and relaxation here on the Starbase. Because it is the end of October, there is a week-long festival on the station. I am hoping the crew get some enjoyment out of it.

FOR THE SIM:
Festival time! Starbase 399 hosts this each year. It incoporates holidays from all around the quadrant, including Haloween, so crew will see station inhabitants dressed in costumes and will encourage our crew to participate as well. The crew is instructed to have fun, but make certain it is all in good taste.
