Time to look for the author...*** Captain's Log/Mission brief 150701 |
Stardate 68768.26 (10/08/2391, 10:00 hours)
We have been called back to Deep Space Nine for a commanding officers' breifing on the current Kzinti-Lyrian situation and any possible actions being taken by Starfleet. The Dauntless remains on patrol in the sector, and we have left a sensor probe in the Bysus system. Should the Kzinti cross the border, or do anything to disrupt the probe, we can slip-stream jump back to the system in a matter of minutes, and intercept any ships headed to Bysus II. The crew has been granted limited shore leave while I am in conference.

FOR THE SIM:
The crew will have some free time on the new station. Now, I am a fan of the Star Trek Novels (Pockerbooks versions) so I am going on the premise that the DS-9 of the tv series was destroyed by the Typhon Pact. The new DS-9, captained by Captain Ro Laren, is much larger and way more modern. It is a Frontier-class station. it includes a much larger commercial area. Quark's bar is now Quark's Saloon, Holo-Suite Emporium (some other names attached here, and the Ferengi Embassy to Bajor.
