The final report on the subspace jammer is in. While the finaly analysis could only conclusively say that the device is Orion in nature, it also states that someone of Felinoid origins was the last programmer of the unit. Unfortunately that could mean our chief tactical-security officer could have programmed it as well. The two Kzinti ships are still holding station just on their side of the border. I am wondering if they are just waiting for us to leave. Surely they have to know that won't happen while they're there. But, it also poses another problem... while these two keep us occupied here, is there another area we should be keeping an eye on? Unfortunately there is not yet another ship in the area to assist us.

What to do about the Kzinti? We need to figure out what they are doing and are they meant to be a distraction?
