Captain's Log
Stardate 68743.49 (09/29/2391, 09:00 hours)
Patrol along the Klingon border, near Kzinti space continues. Thus far, we have not seen any incursions into Federation of Klingon space, but long-range sensors have detected skirmishes in both Lyran and Kxinti space and disputed territories. To make the situation more tense, relations between the Federation and Klingon Empire are still rocky due to the Klingon's continued incursions against the Romulans in the wake of their weakening after the Hobus disaster. Hopefully, we can avoid all of them and keep Federation interests safe.

FOR THE SIM:
We are patrolling in hostile space. All hands should be at their stations and ready for anything, though hopefully just our presence will deter incursions into Federation space.
