Sensors have detected a power signature similar to the former Borg. We understand that the Borg, themselves, have mostly all been taken into the Caeliar gestalt. There were a few exceptions as found by Voyager and the Full Circle Fleet upon their return to the Delta Quadrant. As such, Lt. Banning informs us this cube matches that of a DQ species known as the Indign. They used the cubes, filled with the corpses of other species as tribute to the Borg. Banning also informs us that the cube has deficiencies in its surfaces, such as buckled hull plates. This does bear further investigation.
