July 4th. The irony of this date has just hit me. This was, at one time, considered Independence Day in the United States of America, on Earth. We could very possibly be securing the independence of the planet Solenar today.
We have made the decision to let the Solenarian know, as surreptitiously as possible. We will be taking out the cloaking field that hides the alien compound from the native inhabitants of this planet. At that point it will be up to the Solenarians to deal with the intruders. We will make certain that they can do jus that by blocking any attempts the aliens make to call for assistance, and should there be a ship in the area, we will make certain they cannot assist the aliens on the planet.
I am sure I will have to take flack for this with Command, but.... it is something I am willing to do.

FOR THE SIM:
Our tactical plan should be in place as well as the combined efforts of OPS and SCI to block any attempts the aliens make to call for help. SCI and OPS also have the added duty of getting the appropriate satellite into position and that THAT same satellite transmit the appropriate images to the defense platform.
