Time to look for the author...*** Captain's Log/Mission brief 141015 |

Starfleet has asked us to remain in this region just outside Federation space and do some exploring, which is exactly what we've been doing. There hasn't been a heck of a lot to report on in the past two weeks. A science team is out studying the, or what used to be the Rift Nebula, and that is about the only interesting thing in this region, until now. Gamma shift science teams have been busy utilizing the enhanced sensor "net" capabilities of this ship. They have detected a fluctuating power signature that they believe is a cloaked space station. As soon as the Alpha shift officers report, we will be setting course to go take a look.

FOR THE SIM:
As you see, it has been approximately two weeks since our last sim. We haven't encountered anything interesting in the time we have been exploring the region of non-Federation space, so this possible space station has curiosity piqued. All hands at their normal duty stations, the ship is currently on Status Green.
