Captain's Log
Stardate 68387.44 (05/22/2391, 10:00 hours)
We are on our way back to unknown space after dropping off the once-stranded crew of the former U.S.S. T'Pran. We had taken up the salvageable equipment and destroyed the rest so it would not pollute the natural evolutionary progress of that planet. We have been in touch with the Talon who is still searching for the U.S.S. Excelsior. While Commander Jorel has not found any signs of the missing starship, she has reported on a warship they have been investigating. They had intercepted communications which reported a strange starship that another of the warships had engaged.

FOR THE SIM:
We will be dropping out of slip-stream and picking up the Talon. It will be good to have the commander back aboard.
