Time to look for the author...*** Captain's Log/Mission brief 140813 |

We have come across the wreckage of the Federation starship, U.S.S. T'Pran. The ship has been listed as missing for over two years, and from the sensor readings we have gotten the ship has been in one hell of a firefight. There are severe scorch marks and large sections of hull gone, all over the saucer section, including the bridge. Half of the seconday hull, or battle-section, is missing, and both nacelles completely dismembered. Lt. Banning and Lt. Commander Hart have confirmed that over half of the useable life-pods are missing, and believe the shuttles are gone as well. I have asked Commander Jorel to assemble a team to go over and see if anything can be recovered from the ship's core to determine what had happened to them, and possibly what area they could have gone off in. Banning also stated there are no Class-Ms within four light years of the wreckage.
I will also note that Commander Jorel is opposed to this operation, in favor of continuing our search for Excelsior. Should we be unable to obtain any useful information from T'Pran, we will abaondon any further searches for her crew and resume looking for the XL.

FOR THE SIM:
Try to solve the mystery of the T'Pran. The away team will be led by Commander Jorel, who will pick her team at the start of the sim. Other crew, left on the ship will be looking for clues to the crew's disappearance, or any possibilities of hostiles against us.
