Stardate 68302.56 (04/21/2391, 10:30 hours)
Warp power has been restored and we are on our way back to the Rift Nebula. I had left standing orders for the Gamma Shift that if warp had been restored over night, to set a course and get under way. Approximately 05:30 hours this morning that order was adhered to and we were under way by 06:00. The probe that had been sent out by Lt. Banning had been returning very strange readings, plus I want to make certain there is no trace of the Excelsior around there. They could very well be floating in that area of space.

FOR THE SIM:
We will be arriving at the Rift Nebula at the start of the sim. All hands should be prepared and the ship will be at yellow alert.
