Captain's Log Stardate 68275 (04/11/2391, 09:00 hours) I have reviewed reports from both sciences and operations signifying that the interdemensional comm link is operating as expected. The tricorder is receiving close-range sensor data, and sending out a priority-one message directed to the U.S.S. Excelsior specifically. The one problem with this is the XL has to be in a closer proximity due to the low power output of the tricorder. I am told a signal could reach them, wherever they are, but it could be weeks depending on how fat away from the rift the ship is. In the meantime, I have asked sciences to deploy the sensor net and see if they can pick up any of the ion trails of any of the ships that have come through the rift. I want to find out just what those ships have been up to, considering that they have come through multiple times. ### FOR THE SIM: We will continue to listen for contact from the XL on the other side of the rift, as well as checking for any signs as to what the ships that have come through the rift have been up to. |
