Our search for the U.S.S. Excelsior continues. Our science teams have discovered imiature fractures in the fabric of space. Lt. Banning theorizes that it is from the continued use by the beings from the other universe where the XL now is. We are also ready to rig an interdemensional communicator by sending a tricorder through one of the fractures tethered to the sensor probe we have near the rift. We will be sending the Falcon in to make the connections and place the tricorder near the rift. While it will not have a strong transmitter, it will be constantly broadcasting on a secure frequency that, hopefully, the Excelsior will eventually pick up.

FOR THE SIM:
As stated a team will be taking the Falcon into the nebula to place the tricorder. Ensign Nerik will pilot the shuttle, and Lt commander Hart and Lt. Banning will go and set up the transmitter.
