Time to look for the author...*** Captain's Log/Mission brief 140205 |

Our investigation into what happened to the Farvarian frieghter continues. From the logs Lt Banning was able to retrieve, we learned they were bound for the Antares II colony. The freighter had a crew of eight. The feline, which is a Farvarian khasa, was the captain's pet. We also learned that the freighter was traveling in established shipping lanes and was approached by a Tzenkethi marauder. No communications were established with the Tzenkethi ship. The freighter was simply locked onto by the maruder, and the crew was taken as well as the cargo. I have notified the Farvarian authorities and have informed them we will attempt to locate their crew. We have also repeatedly attemtped to contact the Tzenkethi authorities, but our hails have gone unanswered. A full copy of our findings have been sent to Command.

FOR THE SIM:
We will be actively searching for the Tzenkethi marauder, but we will have to be doing it from our side of the border. Command has ordered us to remain on our side of the border, as more shipments to the colonies are due. All hands are to be vigilant as always.
