21:21	CmdrDutcher	XO>[CO] Well, right now we need to find the middle ground. While the Heku may have been settlers, the fact that they were left with no support and subsequently broke ties .. well it brooks the problem of breaking the primary directive.

21:25	Cdr_Hart	CENG >[ CO ] But, what happens when all those reinforcements, from both sides show up?
21:25	CmdrDutcher	XO> [CO] Therein lies our dilemma. But mediating for a peaceful resolution, I would assume it would be along the lines of recognizing the Heku's sovereignty and working to find a trade agreement of some sort between the two.
21:27	CaptMcCloud	CO > ::nods in agreement with Dutcher:: [ CENG ] Maybe I was hoping too much, that by the time they did arrive, these two commanders would be talking and convince the other ships to stand down and stand by
21:28	CmdrDutcher	XO> [CO] The Regulain's don't seem to want to give up their claim on the Heku. Or at Least Kentral Nintaag doesn't.
21:29	Cdr_Hart	CENG >[ CO ] We probably SHOULD have beamed all the Regulain, back onto their ship and gave then a tractor shove back into Regulain space. Then take the Heku to the reinforcements and leave it at that.

21:31	CaptMcCloud	CO >[ XO ] It definitely appears that way, Commander. I'm wondering if it is his personal feelings or he is simply going by his superiors wishes.
21:32	CmdrDutcher	XO> [CENG] While that may sound good to you, Commander Hart, that would have only incited further violence, not only against the Heku, but against the Federation as well. ::nods to the CO::[CO] I was wondering the same thing.

21:53	Nintaag	RCO > ::is, at first, affronted by this new development (and a little smug because he knew his ship opened fire). Then a new look of concern comes over him, and he heads out with the officers, pulling his communicator from its holster.::
21:54	CmdrDutcher	XO>[CNS] Lets hope we can make some headway.
21:54	EnsNguyen	CNS >[ XO ] Do you get even the slightest hint we may be able to pull this off?
21:55	CaptMcCloud	CO > :its back down at the table, and feels another small shudder::

21:57	Nintaag	RCO > :: speaks into his communicator, keeping his voice low, then stops speaking as he comes fully into the room. Goes to the table, a new scowl on his face::
