"Erei'Riov," called Jhu'Rhiana from the Athena's helm station. "We have entered Starzen space."
"Very good, Arrain," Ronov replied. "Set course for the Forbidden sector. Make your speed Warp 4."
Ronov smiled with satisfaction, as the Rihannsu helmsman plotted and executed the course without question. he did not the quick turns, and looks of surprise by the Fleeter officers on the bridge. Smartly, none of them questioned him. The only one who still gazed at him was the fair-haired Vulcan, sitting at the science console. Before Svonn could utter a word, Ronov punched the captain's log record button.
"Captain's log, Stardate 62530.36. Erei'Riov Ronov reporting.
"We have just entered Starzen space, and I have ordered the ship to proceed to the location of the Elder Base, which we had previously discovered. I have ordered our velocity to be set to warp 4, which I know will afford us nearly a week to reach the destination. This will give the Starzen command ample time to reply to our request, which we are still waiting for. It is my hope it will also afford ample time for Captain Mergahn to return from the Alpha Quadrant. Should we reach the forbidden area, before any word is heard from the Starzen, or Captain Mergahn, I shall hold outside the system for a period of 48 hours, before we proceed to the Elder Base."
Ronov snapped off the recorder, and looked over to the Vulcan. He could see the questions on Svonn's mind.
"Ensign Reever," Ronov called to the OPS officer. "Send a message to Starzen Command, and Starfleet Command as well. Let them know we are back in their space and proceeding to the Zone."
