BIOGRAPHY:
Marghuerite, known as Daisy to her family and friends, is the third child and first daughter of Peter and Laura She is named after her maternal grandmother; she was their third child but their first daughter. Daisy has two older brothers, one younger brother and two younger sisters. Her father is a concert pianist and her mother is a portrait photographer.
Daisy always wanted to be a doctor and entered Medical School at Harvard when she was 21. She completed her internship and residency at Johns Hopkins then moved back to New Orleans to take a position working in the ER at East Jefferson General Hospital in Metairie, La (A suburb of New Orleans)
Eugene ?Gene? Compton was visiting his father in the hospital and literally ran into Daisy in the Coffee Shop. The two seemed to keep meeting there over the next few days and when the elder Mr. Compton passed away, Daisy comforted Eugene. They married a year later in a traditional Catholic wedding. Their first child Thomas, was born ten months later and two years after that Charlene joined their family.
As strong, loving marriage of 11 years was cut short when five years ago, the ship on which her husband was serving went missing and there has been no contact with the ship since. All hands are presumed lost. Daisy did not have a chance to tell Gene she was pregnant with their third child before he disappeared. Isabella was born seven and a half months after her father was last seen.
Eugene had been an extremely dedicated Starfleet officer who felt strongly about the mission to explore the unknown and contact new races and although Daisy chose to remain on Earth as a civilian doctor while he served in space, she admired his dedication and his love for Starfleet.
When it became obvious that Eugene's ship was lost, Daisy had a change of heart. She enrolled in Starfleet Academy and sought a commission as a Medical Officer aboard a starship upon her graduation and has just learned of her assignment to the USS Eagle.
In 2386, received a promotion to Lt. Commander.
