Time to look for the author...***1916 - Zack Michaels, by Captain Hunter |
Zack Michaels watched as the screen went blank on Hunter's address to the Federation Council. Whoa!!!!!! This is heavy!!!!!! The old man's gonna get grounded for sure this time!!!!!!
He didn't have a chance to ponder things any further as the commboard began to light up like a Christmas tree. The first one, predictably, was from Starfleet Command. Hunter had expected that call, so Zack routed it through to his quarters.
However, there were many others coming in. One from the KnightStar, another from Starbase 294, one from Vulcan, one from Neutral Zone Outpost Four, a pile from Earth, an equal pile from Deneva......the list went on.
A second Top Priority Message came through from Starfleet, taking over the top of the list. This one was for Commander th'Dani. Zack sent it through to him in Engineering. All the rest he kept on hold, so to speak.
Being the nosey bugger that he was, Zack was kind of listening in a bit. His stomach did a little flip-flop at the news that Hunter was under arrest. He knew that he couldn't send any of the calls to him.
