On the Breen warship, Thot Grakk sat staring at the ship's main screen. He was fuming, but it was an emotion his crew would never see, thanks to these blasted suits of armor. They were designed to keep all Breen equal, with the exception of the ranks they all bore. Everyone's suits were exactly the same, to prevent anyone, including the crew, from determining which of the four races, which made up the Breen Confederacy, anyone of them was.
He knew that he should have been more suspicious of that Tzenkethi scout ship. Grakk never trusted them to begin with, but he now wondered if it was truly a Tzenkethi ship. Could it have been that Fleeter ship? The one that was rumored to have slip-stream capabilities? If so, then this was a whole other technology they would have to be concerned with.
And, the rest of those fools in that fleet of ships. It took Grakk's officers to determine that there was no real starship, but a decoy probe. But, a decoy probe that was surprisingly good at deceiving their sensors. Yet another technological problem.
"Status of Thot Tregg's ship?" Grakk asked of the ship he sent into the ion cloud.
"Communications are difficult, due to the radiation," reported the comms officer. "We can barely make out where they are in there."
"And I am guessing there is no sign of our Tzenkethi... friends," Grakk asked.
"Correct, Sir. It is as if they never went in there."
*That could very well be*, Grakk thought to himself. The Tzenkethi were sneaky little *renzfrags* like that. Again, if they were indeed Tzenkethi. Could the Fleeter ship be utilizing a cloak? The Federation had a long-time treaty with the Romulans not to use one in the Alpha, or Beta, quadrant, but with the dismantling of the United Federation of Planets, could that treaty have gone by the wayside? If Grakk were running things, on the Fleeter side, he certainly would be ignoring it. Still, Starfleet had their stupid principles.
Then, another thought came to the Breen commander. *If they could make their ship look like a Tzenkethi ship, what else could they disguise it as*? Aloud, Grakk ordered, "I want comprehensive scans of that cloud."
