Time to look for the author...*** "Rousing Success" DL |

The dance party seems to have a rousing success!
From the willing participants, to those dragged their by friends, strongly ‘encouraged’ to attend by superiors, and even those that just wanted to see what a ‘dance party’ was, most people seemed to enjoy themselves. Laughter, smiles, hugs, dance groups and even some sweet moments between couples were all evident throughout the day.
Even the captain was seen with a smile on his face while in attendance. And while he didn’t dance, even though I know he CAN, having seen him and mom share a couple of steps, he seemed to be enjoying himself.
I know we have been a bit busy lately, and formal reports and quick messages to check in have had to suffice lately, I think I really need to make time to do a more thorough check in not just with the Capt, but also with the XO and the other dept heads. Make sure to stay on top of anything found. Don’t need to wait until we have any major problems when we can hopefully pick up on them and head them off early.
I’ve thought of some more ways to help the crew stick together, have some fun, and maybe brush up on ‘survival skills’. I think I’m going to talk to the security chief and see if he would like to help me plan some ‘camping nights’ on the holodeck. Teamwork and fun in an informal setting. Mountains, forests, plains, deserts, river trips, almost any setting can be recreated in the HD for these adventures. Have to talk to the XO first for approval, but I think it will be.
