With a tap of his finger on the console, the comm-link with the U.S.S. Pathfinder was closed. Svann looked up to the main view screen, then down into the Well. "Make certain docking control is prepared for the incoming."
"Already done, Commander," reported Lt. jg Ren Soron, the Bajoran OPS officer. Ren was young and eager to impress. "Also, Sir, I have received and forwarded to your console the list of new transfers that are coming in with Pathfinder."
"Thank you, Lieutenant." Svann tapped the console in front of him once more. The list Ren spoke of scrolled up. There were five new officers assigned to security, including a new chief and forensics specialist, and ten new engineers. The Vulcan made a mental note to include Lt. Commander Baxter in the list of officers invited to the upcoming briefing. Svann raised an eyebrow as he noted four new cadets finishing out their senior year on field assignments. He sent the list to the quartermaster and then with a swipe of his finger, the list moved off the screen. He brought up a new screen and prepared the message to all the department heads of the briefing Admiral Fyrstk had ordered.
