The crew of the Eagle, much like other sol-based ships are made up of a species within the Alpha-Quadrant. Despite hard-line objetions from many senior admirals in the Star Navy, it was found to be necessary to integrate the crew. First, for man power. The Empire was expanding quickly, and there simply was not sufficient number of Rihannsu to man the ships reqi=uired to keeep the Empire under control.
     A second reason for the integration of non-Romulans into the navy was loyalty through-out the growing Empire. If was found subjugated worlds would give less trouble if some of their populace were allowed to serve the Empire in some aspect. Still, non-Rihanna are kept to a minority on ships to ensure the loyalty of the ship's crews. In their infinite wisdom, the admiralty had ordered that the sol'Division be issued a differnt uniform than the ch'Division. Instaed of creating an air of inferiority among sol'Divisioners, it created their own air of singularity.
     Terrans make up the majority of non-Rihanna. They have been found to be most innovative and more willing to serve. Rigellians are also dominant amongst non-Rihanna crew. Though they are a Vulcanoid species, they are still considered inferior to pure-blood Rihannsu. Vulcans are far and few among Star Navy crew. The Romulans never put any trust in their distant cousins and have allowed them entrance in the Navy in extreme cases.
     Each ship in the Navy has one Betazoid aboard. The position of Betazoids is Captain's Advisor. THey are used solely for reading the minds of those who would be deemed enemies of the State and advising the commanding officer on their mindset. Betazoids holld no real rank within the Navy. Thouch they are considered more like the captain;s "pet" on most ships they are respected as if they did hold actual rank. Most do no trust Betazoids.
     Unlike other ship captains in the Navy, and possibly because of his own double heritage, Enarrain Lukas has come to trust and respect those of his non-Rihannsu crew as much as the full-bloods. He tends to give them more leeway and freedoms then other commanders do. A regular bone of ontention with the other ship captains.

  • Romulan - Terran hybrid, born of Luktra 'vnuthrai tr'Fyrstk and Earth-woman Jessica Landers, in the Sol Station S'harien medical facility. Luktra branched out the family ship building business to the Sol System when the Empire decided to utilize the former Earth Station McKinley. He took Jessica Landers after his betrothed had died of a rare Rihannsu virus.
         Lukas, looked at from the beginning as inferior to full-blooded Romulans strove even harder to prove his worth to his father. He pushed himself to his very limits to prove his worth in service to the Galae. The best the full-bloooded Rihannsu would allow him was to go through the ranks and serve the sol branch of the Fleet, which despite it's many victories has always been considered the dregs of the RIhannsu Star Empire. Still, Lukas served proudly, and continues to try and prove his worth. There are higher commanders of the Empirical Star Navy that will admit in total secrecy that Lukas is one of the best and would never hesitiat e to trust him with their very lives, but will never voice their opinion out loud.

  • Son of a powerful family, part of a powerful house. He dosent suffer fools greatly and has been known to demote people for stupid minor mistakes. Saeihr is constantly wondering what he has done wrong that they would assign him to a sol ship and often takes his anger out on crewmembers. He is also looking for whatever opportunity to see Ennarain Lukas removed from his command, though very few opportunities have presented themselves. Despite his ambition, he does hold a grudging respect for the hybrid commander.

Resork also came up with the right mixture of "white" to turn the allegiance of the Jem Hadar to the Romluan EMpire.

  • Male, Felinoid. The only of his kind in the entire Star Navy. Alo earned his position as Daise Dheno after he saved the life of, then Commander, Lukas while quashing a rebellion on Felinious V. Alo had informed Commander Lukas he was not originally from this area of space and had been looking for a way off the backwards feline planet. He now serves in the chief security position watching the captain;s back.

  • Terran female and undounted the biggest joke among full-blooded Romulans who do not know the ante-centurion. She was hand-picked by Enarrain Lukas to serve aboard the Eagle after he observed her on Earth. He found not only her fighting skill facsinating, but enjoyed other asoects of her as well. Some among the crew, say these other aspects are the ONLY reason she is aboard and figures if Lukas has his way, she will rise to Commander on these merits alone.

  • Male, Full-blood Rihannsu. Much like other full-bloods serving in the ,i.sol Division of the Star Navy, Takaram had fallen in disfavor with his former commander by a slight engineering blunder aboard the warbird. The commander thought it serious enough (not to mention there was a bit of a house feud) that he pulled the righ strings and had Tamarak transferred to the Eagle. Takaram has proven to be a competent engineer and now feels more pride in serving aboard the experimental ship.

  • Terran, male. Jeff has reached the highest rank available to non-Rihannsu crew. He has proven himself time and again as one of the most competent engineers in the Star Navy. Even Takaram has high respect for Jeff's talents.

  • Vulcan, female. Erein Hamza (nicknamed Ratchet by Terran crew members) is the only Vulcan aboard the Eagle. As with all Vulcans permitted to serve in the Star Navy, Hamza is forced to take psi-suppressant to block her touch telepathic abilities. Romulan scientists, having failed to replicate the Vulcan mental ability, decreed it easier to supress those in the Vulcan people and thereby keep them under control.
